If you're a fan of homemade style beef jerky, then you know that the marinade is key to achieving the perfect flavor and texture. At Moses Family Jerky, we pride ourselves on using only the freshest ingredients and the best marinades to create our delicious jerky.

If you're looking to make your own beef jerky at home, we've got a great marinade recipe for you to try. This recipe has been tested and perfected by our team, and we're confident that it will give you the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors.

To make this marinade, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder

To start, mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl. Once the marinade is well combined, place your beef slices into a resealable bag or container and pour the marinade over the top. Make sure that the beef is well coated, and then refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight, if you have the time).

After your beef has had time to marinate, it's time to start drying it out. There are a few different methods you can use to do this, including using a dehydrator or baking it in the oven. If you're using a dehydrator, set it to 160 degrees and let the beef dry for about 8 hours. If you're using the oven, place the beef on a wire rack over a baking sheet and bake at the lowest possible temperature for about 4-6 hours (or until the beef is dry and chewy).

And that's it! With this simple marinade recipe, you can make your own delicious homemade style beef jerky right in the comfort of your own home. Don't forget to check out our selection of jerky at mfjerky.com – we've got a variety of flavors to choose from, all made with the freshest ingredients and the best marinades. Happy snacking!
