To make teriyaki beef jerky, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 pound of beef, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of honey
Here's how to make it:
-
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
-
Place the beef slices in a large resealable bag, and pour the marinade over the beef. Seal the bag, and toss to evenly coat the beef with the marinade.
-
Marinate the beef in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
-
Preheat your oven to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
-
Place the beef slices on a wire rack over a baking sheet, and bake for 4-6 hours, or until the beef is dry and slightly crispy.
-
Drizzle the honey over the beef jerky, and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
-
Let the beef jerky cool to room temperature, and then enjoy!
